1. Prices and stock

• Prices on the website are in Jamaican dollars and are the prices at the counter on the day they are shown. They can change without notice.
• Stock levels shown are a guide and can change during the day. Popular items can sell out.
• Loose goods are weighed at the counter. You pay for the weight you take, at the price on the day you pick up.
• If a price on the website is clearly wrong, we will tell you the correct price before you pay, and you can choose not to buy.

2. Orders for pickup

• Sending an order asks us to bag your items. It is not a purchase until you pay, and the total shown on the website is an estimate. Loose goods are weighed when we bag them.
• We may limit quantities, or contact you if something is not available.
• We hold bagged pickup orders until closing time on the pickup day you chose (within 7 days for “Later this week”). After that we may return the items to the shelves.
• Please give a real name and phone number so we can reach you. We may cancel orders that look false or abusive.
• There is no online payment. For pickup, you pay at the counter by cash or card, or on your wholesale account if you have one.

2a. Delivery

• We deliver Monday to Friday, between 9 am and 6 pm. Orders placed before 1 pm on a delivery day can be delivered the same day.
• The delivery price depends on the area you choose when you order, and is shown before you send the order. We only deliver to the areas listed. Some areas may only be offered for orders up to a certain weight.
• Where an area is served by Knutsford Express, we send the order to the office you pick once it is paid, and you collect it there. Timing then depends on the courier.
• There is no free delivery, for retail or wholesale customers.
• The smallest order we deliver is J$3,000 of goods, not counting the delivery fee.
• You pay in cash when the order arrives, or by bank transfer. We do not take card payments on delivery. Wholesale customers may put the order and the delivery fee on their account and settle it by bank transfer.
• Please be available at the address you gave. If nobody is there to receive the order, or it is refused, the delivery fee is still payable because the trip has been made.
• If an item is missing from your delivery, tell us and choose either to have it delivered on the next delivery day or a refund for that item.

3. Wholesale accounts

• Wholesale accounts are opened by agreement with the depot. Wholesale prices apply only to purchases on an approved account.
• Any credit limit and payment terms are as agreed with the depot. You agree to pay your balance by the agreed time. We may pause account purchases if a balance is overdue or over its limit.
• You sign in with a code sent to the email we have for your account. Keep access to that email secure. You are responsible for orders placed through your sign-in, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
• We or you can close an account at any time. Any balance still owing must be paid.

4. Allergy notice

We handle peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, seeds, grains and spices, often from open bins and with shared scoops and scales. We cannot promise that any product is free from traces of nuts or other allergens. If you or someone you are buying for has a food allergy, please speak to us before buying.

5. Returns and refunds

If something you bought is not right, bring it back with your receipt as soon as possible, and within 7 days, and we will look at it with you. Refunds are approved by a manager. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act of Jamaica or any other law.

6. Using the website properly

Please do not:

• send false, automated or bulk orders, or try to overload the website
• try to get into parts of the website or our systems that are not meant for you, including the staff till
• copy our prices or content in bulk for commercial use without our permission

We may block access, cancel orders or close accounts that break these rules.

7. Our content

The H&S name, logo, text and design of this website belong to H&S Peanuts Depot. Some product photos are licensed from Unsplash and belong to their photographers. You may share links to our pages, but please do not reuse our logo or content to suggest you are us.

8. Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, and it may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost business or profit, that come from using the website. We do not limit our responsibility where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or injury caused by our negligence, or under consumer protection law.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page applies from the date at the top. If you keep using the website after a change, the new terms apply.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica, and the courts of Jamaica deal with any dispute about them.
